About HLC

Leadership:

Pastor Kathleen Dettmann is our Pastor. She may be reached at the parsonage 567-2609 or cell 928-0742.

Hettinger Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation that was founded in 1908. Our Pastor also serves two rural churches, Duck Creek Lutheran and Lodgepole Lutheran.

• We have a Church School program that meets Wednesdays after school for K-6
• Confirmation classes for youth and adults
• several bible study groups
• an active Lutheran/Methodist/Catholic Youth Group
• WELCA group
• winter quilting, always looking for help!
• a extensive library open for the congregation, we  added Christian fiction this summer!

The church office is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 call 567-2598 for more information!

We currently have a very active nine member council and are always looking for volunteers to hold council positions.

Our membership roster is currently being updated, approximate numbers are about 300 active members and active-nonmembers.
